In just a few short weeks starting April 11th, the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival takes over the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, CA for not just one, but two back to back three day weekends of incredible music performances and fun in the sun. The moment I saw the lineup released months ago, my jaw literally dropped. This has to be one of the most impressive Coachella lineups in recent years. From deep house to hip-hop, indie dance to rock & roll and just about every genre in between, there really is something for EVERYONE this year. With a plethora of artist performing in just about every genre imaginable, there is certainly not to be a moment to waste inside the festival. I’m certain that I’ll be jumping from stage to stage all weekend to get my fix of the wide array of artist to enjoy.  Here’s a list of 10 acts I wouldn’t miss for the world, and you shouldn’t either.

1. AlunaGeorge- After discovering this Electronic duo from London on Disclosure’s track “White Noise”, I can’t wait to see this boy & girl pair bring their unique & funky sound to Coachella for the first time.

2. AdventureClub- After hearing their hit “Crave You” with Flight Facilities for the first time, I fell in love with everything Adventure Club. Considering that Flight Facilities is also performing at Coachella this year, fingers are crossed in hopes of a “Crave You” performance.

3. Banks- With her sultry and sexy vocals, it’s enough to make even any R&B hater swoon over her. Not to mention, that she’s also pretty easy on the eyes.

4. Bonobo- Extremely happy to see Bonobo on the lineup this year, it’s been long overdue for this triple threat performer as a musician,  DJ, and producer. Everything that Bonobo releases is just pure magic and so versatile. His music can soothe you into relaxation, or have you jamming your heart out on the dance floor.

5. Disclosure- The duo’s grammy winning album “Settle” is one of the best albums I’ve ever heard from start to finish. I can’t wait to see what tricks these brothers have up their sleeve for their second year in a row at Coachella.

6. Hot since 82- Living up to his name, “Hot” Since 82 is sure to please with tracks like “knee deep in Louise” that skyrocketed this deep house DJ into a household name.

7. Lee Burridge- Coming on to the club scene back in the early 1990’s, Lee Burridge is considered a pioneer in the deep house scene and definitely a treat for any Coachella attendee lucky enough to catch a set from this Godfather of deep house.

8. RL Grime- The name is so fitting as there are no other words besides “Grimey” and “Filthy”, to describe a set from this young LA based DJ. Exploding on to the trap scene in the past year, RL Grime has proved his worthiness to perform at Coachella this year for the first time.

9. Duck Sauce- A-trak and Armand Van Helden TOGETHER, enough said.

10. Headhunterz- Leading the dutch Hardstyle revolution in the United States, one man show, Willem Rebergen has fans stomping and shuffling their hearts out with every performance. Don’t miss being a witness to the very first Hardstyle takeover in action at Coachella this year.
